Working on this project, I’ve learned how much I enjoy getting lost in the design details. I got to apply what I’ve studied in UX design to figure out how to make the navigation, visuals, and flow feel as seamless as possible for users.
During my search for inspiration in other design portfolios, I noticed that I connected most with the designers who included interactive aspects in the little things that make the user’s experience on their site memorable and playful. When designing my own, I wanted to do the same and had so much fun playing around and seeing where my creative freedom would take me.
Along the way I learned that small, frequent tests beat big redesigns. I checked every change on desktop, tablet, and phone, and a lot of my favorite decisions came from noticing the little things that felt off.
